چکیده
An existing challenge in the use of continuous fiber reinforcements additively manufactured parts is limited availability suitable materials. This leads to a reduced adaptability mechanical properties load case. The increased design freedom additive manufacturing allows flexible deposition strands at defined positions, so that even different materials can be easily combined printed part. In this work, therefore, an approach taken combine carbon and aramid fibers composite investigate their effects on properties. For purpose, tensile, flexural impact tests were performed made nylon matrix with five mixing ratios. showed hybrid composites for reasonable adapt loading case hand. experiments increasing content resulted increase strength, but decrease tensile strength stiffness. Microstructural investigations fracture surfaces debonding delamination main failure mechanisms. Finally, Rule Hybrid Mixture equations applied predict mixture predicted values differed from experimentally determined by average 5.6%.

Carbon Fiber Reinforced Bismaleimide Composites
Bismaleimide (BMI) resins are developed very rapidly due to the demands of the defense and aerospace industries. They are cross-linked polymers which process like epoxy resins but have an upper use temperature of 230°C, compared to the epoxy upper use temperature of 175°C. Also due to the available intrinsic properties of BMI resins such as higher thermal stability and lower toxicity than those...

Ozone modification method and air-oxidation were used for the surface treatment of polyacrylonitrile(PAN)-based carbon fiber. The surface characteristics of carbon fibers were characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The interfacial properties of carbon fiber reinforced polyamide 6 (CF/PA6) composites were investigated by means of the single fiber pull-out tests. As a result...

Brittleness, which was the inherent weakness in High Strength Concrete (HSC), can be avoided by reinforcing the concrete with discontinuous fibers. Reinforcing HSC with more than one fiber is advantageous in an overall improvement of the mechanical performance of the composite. In this experimental study, Hybrid Fiber Reinforced High Strength Concrete (HyFR-HSC) mixes were formed by blending si...
